As the 89th Masters Tournament approaches [April 10-13], our minds turn to the moment that always marks the true beginning of the season of golf.

Following below are some statistics to remind us of how we left Augusta National last April … how Scottie Scheffler won and … how the course presented itself competitively.

Aside: The only club-acknowledged alterations to the course for the approaching 2025 competition are the repairs necessitated by Hurricane Helene’s destruction of 1,400 trees last September. There are some key places where trees were lost e.g. the right, rear corner behind the green side bunker at the 11th green, and behind the 15th green.
